2025 was a peculiar year for the cured meat sector, characterised by fluctuating demand and a market that showed a slight contraction in several segments.
In this context, Salumificio Mottolini recorded positive results, a significant achievement for the company, obtained thanks to the solidity of its daily work and targeted strategic choices.
‘2025 was a challenging but also very satisfying year,’ comments Emilio Mottolini, Sales Manager. ‘In a complex market, we managed to grow thanks to investments in the quality of our products and process improvements. The rationalisation of our product range and a number of changes in production have enabled us to be more efficient and more attentive to customer needs.’
In addition to its financial results, 2025 was also a year of internal strengthening: a period in which the company continued to work on its organisation, focusing on leaner management, increasingly optimised production processes and greater consistency in its commercial offering. This quiet but constant work contributed significantly to the progress made.
Looking ahead to 2026, the goal is to continue along this trajectory, maintaining an approach based on continuity, attention to detail and sustainable growth.
‘Our commitment,’ adds Emilio Mottolini, ‘will be to consolidate what we have built this year and to continue to improve the way we work every day. In our company, we do not see growth as an end in itself: for us, it means first and foremost improving the way we work and bringing value to our customers, partners and the local area.’
2026 therefore looks set to be a year of continuity and consolidation, marked by a desire to further strengthen quality, care and roots in Valtellina: values that have always guided Salumificio Mottolini's approach to work.
